I went to Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury this afternoon. Charles Dickens (1812-70) lived there only two years but The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby were written there. I had wanted to visit the museum for a long time because I have been interested in his works. I read Christmas Carol translated into Japanese when I was a university student and I watched the film Great Expectations, which was from his original story.Monday 4 August 2008
